i think that you came too soon, you're the honey and the moon that lights up my night...
"As the wave came close I tried to flee
But it swept me right off my feet
And a gentle touch pulled me down below
There were dolphins dancing everywhere
And mermaids with red glowing hair
And god shone on his throne like the sun
Passing wisdom trees filled with golden leaves
I could feel the warmth of a perfect melody
Take me on..."

26th April 2014
9 months in the womb, 9 months in the world. It has been a wonderful journey full of joy, tears, surprises, aches, delight, and fear.
8th October 2013
Almost seven months postpartum, and we are no longer living in Paris but a quiet suburb not so far away, on the west side. My back is breaking, my arms are breaking, my knees are breaking....Madeleine is 8 kilos, and I can barely lift her without aching everywhere. I'm struggling between continuing to nurse her or to give up and go for the bottle as I am exhausted and moody most days and my weight has dipped lower than before I got pregnant. Will bottle feeding make her sleep through the night though? Will I EVER sleep through the night again? Hahaha....our adventure continues...
6th August 2013
We've made it past the 22nd of December 2012, and I have survived labor and child birth.
Now starts a new episode in my life...and so far, it has been much tougher than I'd expected.
I'll be blogging about family life, and if I ever get around to cooking these days, some more cooking.
31st January 2013
Yes, I know, I should have gotten around to this earlier.
I've had so much time on my hands, but I just didn't have the motivation to start a blog. I just had to drag this on until now...32 weeks pregnant and bedridden until the 23rd of December...that is, if we make it to the 23rd with all the apocalyptic prophecies going on.
Where do I start?
I think it all starts with Joseph Arthur in Montreal back in 2007...
But that's going to be a very long story to tell, so I'll just pick up from today the 22nd of November 2012...
